10:51 pm - Nanowrimo Project Day 18: Extreme Write-In
I stay home all day and wrote. I wasn't really pushing for words, I was pushing for story. I wanted to at least be halfway with my story by the end of the day. My chapters are a little bit shorter now but they means less filler to get through. I don't have to introduce characters or how the store is run anymore, so I can just get on with it. Besides, I can fix it in December.

I worked on getting Joey and Fierce to become the Hermione and Ron to Henry's Harry. Things are coming together. They at least know each other now. I killed off a character "on screen" today. That was fun. It's always nice to kill off a characters in a way that proves to the reader that Henry is not crazy about the people disappearing thing. Technically, three characters are dead, but only one Henry witnessed. He still doesn't know that Brynn is gone because she hasn't been to work in a few days. What is going on?

50k tomorrow?

11:29 pm - Nanowrimo Project 17: I Feel the Earth Move Under My Milkshake...
I was close to not writing anything today. I had made plans to meet John and Miranda at IHOP this morning for some writing, but when I woke up this morning, the sinus pain was back. I felt really frelling tired and wanted nothing more than to stay home. But I realized that I had the keys to open the front door to the Volunteer Center so I had to go.

Then when I got to work, I felt so horrible that I felt that I should just stay at work because it was easier than trying to catch a bus home. Miranda came and picked me up and we ate pancakes! John never showed, but Miranda and I got about 600 words done.

Then I tried to get home, but every bus was determined not to pick me up, so I went back to work and finished out the rest of my day. Then I got home and I somehow was able to concentrate enough to write, despite my need to sleep.

I managed to finish Chapter 9 this evening. It was nice and superfluous. It didn't really contribute anything to the story, but it was fun to see Henry get drunk. I might have to go back and make sure he has a little more fun. He seemed to be a little stick in the mud. Joey had a good time though. Fierce seemed to elude me. I didn't go into full detail because I just wanted Henry to walk in on Hyphen and Kevin having furry sex. That scene amused me.

I started Chapter 10. The store experiences an earthquake. They've just evacuated the store, which is something I don't think is really safe, but since it's only the store that's effected, I think it might be okay.

I should have gone to bed at 9:00 or 10:00, but I was so close to getting 40k, I had to go for it. :D If I do really well tomorrow, I should have 45k... I'd really like to have 46k by the writein so that I can finish there. It's always better to celebrate with fellow wrimos than to celebrate at home by myself or with people who don't understand what's happening. "I hit 50!" and they're like... "Good for you? Where's that TPS report I asked for?" So yeah... Let's see the numbers and then let's go to bed!

11:45 pm - Nanowrimo Project Days 13-16: No Time For Writing
So here's the abridged version of my weekend!

Day 13: Friday the 13th, I got absolutely no writing done because I had four back to back meetings. I was super pissed off about that. And then I went to hang out with a few people from work. I got bored there and left to go to Ellis's housewarming party. That was a lot of fun. So drunk...

Day 14: I didn't get to write much, but between going to go see The Fourth Kind with my mom and the write in at Cutter's Point I managed to get at least a thousand. I couldn't really concentrate because there was too much talking about interesting drama.

Day 15: This was the failed Midway Party where only two other people showed up to watch Stranger than Fiction. I guess people are sick of it. I'm not planning another event at the Volunteer Center. I get it, people don't want to go there. Fine...

Miranda showed up later and we wrote for a good hour. Then I went to see 2012... It was less silly than I thought it would be.

Day 16: I wrote a little at work today because it wasn't too busy. I'm going to stop worrying about words because I know I will reach 50k. There's really no reason to drum up suspense about it. I will hit 50k next week. The main challenge is to finish the story, wrap everything up and slap "The End" on it before November 30th. I'm determined not to drag this into December- National Novel Finishing Month, because I won't finish it. It needs to end this month. Unfortunately, I'm still in the first third of the story. I'm on Chapter 9 when I thought I'd be on Chapter 13 or 14 by now. I've only got 8 chapters in 35k. I'm a little concerned. Is anyone else?

I'm trying my best to bring Fierce into the story more. Fierce is supposed to be investigating the strange occurences along side Henry, but he hasn't really been present. I'm too busy trying to establish the strange behaviours of the managers. Eventually, I'm going to have the Harry Potter Trio dynamic involved so that both Fierce and Joey help investigate. I need to develop them more.

I'm meeting John and Miranda at IHOP tomorrow. I'm hoping to get a great push into the story then.

11:19 pm - Nanowrimo Project Day 12: Lost, Part II
I opened up my nano this morning only to find that the 1k words I wrote at the write-in disappeared. There was nothing left of what I wrote. So I had to angrily rewrite them again. Truth be told, it was much better the second time around. Then I got trapped in a long meeting at work and then I had to flee to Access Tucson... so there wasn't much time for writing... and then I remembered that I left my thumb drive at the office for real this time. I resigned myself to not writing tonight.

Fortunately, a wrimo told me about this program called Dropbox that lets me save my stuff on the interwebs... much like Google Docs... So I did that, so hopefully, I saved the most current copy there and I can mess with it until I get back to the office. :D

11:07 pm - Nanowrimo Project Day 11: Lost
So yesterday was complete fail for writing... I couldn't really find much time to write at work, but I managed to scrape some words together. At the write-in it was even more difficult because I was talking to Heather (whom I haven't seen in a long time) and Eric about my boy drama. And then I was just feeling really disconnected, despite the awesome scene I had written/ or was in the process of writing. Then I discovered that I had left my thumbdrive with the most updated version of my story at work. I was sad and opened up the previous version I had on Little Topher. I rocked out a thousand words and saved like every five minutes. Then as we're packing up, I discovered that my flash drive had been in the box I house Little Topher in all along. *headdesk* I was thrilled, but in the morning I'd find that it didn't really matter...

So the scene I wrote yesterday was of Henry learning what a buyer does in the store. He watches Jazz and he pretty much gets the jist. Then a creepy guy comes in and demands that they buy his nasty old cat pee handknit Christmas sweaters. Henry is left by himself to deal with it. I was pretty excited about it... until The Incident... To Be Continued.

12:00 am - Nanowrimo Project Day 10: Last Ditch Effort
Due to some drama last night, I was too tired to really write today. I was just thinking about coming home and just going to bed early tonight, but I was trapped in the world of YouTube, a world I had abandoned for a good seven months since I got addicted to facebook. As midnight approached, I felt that I had to write something. So from 11:00 to 12:00m I wrote as much as I could. I tied up a loose end that I left hanging at the end of Chapter 6.

The best part of the first part of Chapter 7 is that Joey was in it. I got to find out a little bit more what the relationship between Henry and Joey was. At the end of Chapter 6, Henry finds a piece of paper with an address written in it. He is curious as to where it leads. In the beginning of Chapter 7, he goes to investigate, taking Joey with him. She's not too thrilled with the idea, but goes along to make sure he doesn't get himself into trouble. She manages to talk some sense into him using movie and TV tropes to get his head back in the game. I think I like her.

I wrote 1,003 words today. I didn't get a chance to write more... Tuesdays and Thursdays are pretty much fail pockets for writing. I might go into work tomorrow and see how far I get.

11:01 pm - Nanowrimo Project Day 9: Meet Me Halfway
I really really wanted to write at work today, but that was damned near impossible with the amount of running around I did. I mean, thinking back on today, there wasn't a whole of things I did, but writing was neglected. Dorian and I went to the Avenue after work and cranked out some words. I managed to get through Chapter Six even though I thought I had nothing going on in it. Basically, he's startingto figure that something's going on. He's finding clothes that once belonged to customers he just saw wearing them. I think I should just stop freaking out about the plot and just get on with it. I'm more than creative enough to work everything out in the end.

Yeah, today rocked! I wrote 4k words today. Once again, I thought I was going to be completely lost on this chapter, but after a few insults to short and fat women, Henry came out of his shell and stuff finally started happening. He's a bit snarkier than I'd like, but I suppose that might be okay. It'll be something to go back and look at.

After the write in, I got trapped at the All Souls thing. Traffic wouldn't let me out, so I just stayed and became part of the show. It was weird. Even though I went alone, I saw a lot of my friends there. It was nice! This bitch is tired! Night!

1:29 pm - Nanowrimo Project Day 7: Happy Birthday, Sparkles!
Well, I didn't get any writing done yesterday at all. I wrote a grand total of 963 words. Almost a thousand... not too bad. It was Eliza's birthday, so mostly I was partying with her! :D We watched Twilight with the rifftrax and booze and it was a pretty good time. The rifftrax alone is ALMOST worth buying the movie. I'm a little bitter that Blockbuster knows I rented it! LOL not really!

So, I'm hoping to achieve more words at the write-in today... I'm a little worried people won't show up. Granted it's a little on the short notice side, but it's been on the nano calendar for days. :P Tee hee!

I tried to work on Chapter Five, but as per usual, the beginning of each chapter gets more and more difficult to write. Each chapter is pretty much is it's own episode. There's a beginning, a middle and some sort of end. Each event is isolated with an overlying story arch. The beginning chapters' descriptions are a bit vague, so I have an idea of what the chapter is about, but not what happens in it... I'm afraid of having the beginning of each chapter reading like the chapter before it... I've been using the Opening Morning Rituals as a way of stalling until I can figure out what exactly is going to happen. Just a way of getting words down on the pages, but with no real content. It'll be interesting to see how I pull that off.

Also the character of Joey worries me, because she's only in the novel twice so far, and there isn't much known about her other than she's Henry's best friend. I know eventually she is going to be working at the store, but I want people to think that's a big deal when it happens. There are so few scenes outside the store that adding any scenes outside of that feels forced and out of place. Unfortunately, that's the only way of getting Joey into the story at the front 13 chapters.

Well, it's time to go... nothing to see here!

9:40 am - Nanowrimo Project Day 6:
Even with laundry and the cleaning of my room, I still managed to write a good amount of solid words. Must of it was filler. I was stalling until I could figure out just what was going to happen in Chapter Four. Since the title of the chapter was, "The Day the Earth Stood Still" I knew that it might have something to do with time lagging, but other than that, I couldn't really piece anything together. I even put on my "TDTEST" Cinemark Movie T-Shirt in the hopes that I could become inspired.

I tried writing at home in the kitchen so that I could keep an eye on the laundry. (I have the tendency to put things in and forget they're there.) I kept getting distracted by what my mom was watching on SyFy: Doctor Who and Stargate Atlantis. (Not a big fan of Stargate:Voyager by the way.)

Dorian asked if I was up for meeting to write and I was like, sure! I was hoping we could find a free place to sit and write, but no one could think of anything, so we went to our new old standby, Avenue Coffee. I met Eliza, Dorian, and Eric there.

On the thirty drive into town, I was able to think of an event to make this chapter worth reading! Why not have everyone stand still? Time was lagging big time, right. Every time Henry would look at the clock after doing what should have been 20 minutes of work, only five had passed. He and Smokey were asked to take their lunch. While on the sales floor time was slowing to a crawl, in the break room, time was speeding by. When they come back out, they find that everything, except the radio was frozen.

The XM Radio is one of my favourite characters so far because it always plays songs that are relevant to what's happening. So when Smokey and Henry see that everything is paused, they're like WTF and the radio plays, "I'd stop the world and melt with you..." and "...time is standing still..." (Who knew the All-American Rejects would come in handy?) And when Smokey and Henry turn the clocks forward, the radio plays "If I Could Turn Back Time".

This chapter I got to expand on Smokey's character. He's happy because he's been noticing the weird stuff happening at the store (we do the weird stuff!) but no one else did. So when Henry comes in and notices it, he's excited to have someone to share this with. He gives Henry the low down on the store happenings, but Henry is skeptical. I'm glad I was able to get this in there, cuz Smokey's gonna be the first one to go. :( I will miss him.

Avenue Coffee closed before I could reach my goal of 16k. So I rode up to Club Congress to party. Nothing was really going on, so I pondered going down to 4th Ave to see a friend, but I was loathe to lose my parking spot across the street from CC. I also pondered sitting in the car with Little Topher and typing more. Then I remembered that the train station waiting room was open. So I went in there and finished my words. Then I walked down to 4th for Happy Times with Michaele, Jeremy, Amanda, Daniel, some guy named Mike who tried to hit on Amanda and Michaele. He hit on Amanda more when he confirmed that I was no competition. :P

I had a good night. :D Today, should I be bold and go for 20k?

12:43 am - Nanowrimo Project Day 5: You're Not Even Trying...
So, today that wasn't a lot of time to write. I had to do the work that I neglected to do yesterday today. So no writing for me. I went to the write-in that Miranda had planned but ultimately didn't show up to because of family issues. John, Dorian, and I just sat and wrote for a while. Since the Red Garter isn't big on outlets, we wrote until our batteries threatened to shut down.

My notes on Chapter Four were a bit vague. I was hoping that the title,"The Day the Earth Stood Still" would help me out with a plot, but I got nothing. My past self assumed that my present self would know what to do when I got there, but he was overly confident I'd figure something out. Sorry Past Xander. My NanoReport Card spreadsheet is also mad at me for not writing enough words. Tomorrow I'm taking the day off work because they're cleaning the carpets and I'm allergic to just cleaned carpets. So I'll be writing, doing laundry, and cleaning my room. Hooray?

12:49 am - Nanowrimo Project Day 4: Write-In Love
So, today was a great day for writing. I managed to do nothing but write at work today. This story lends itself well to being written during sprints. Usually, I feel constrained to keep my stories in line because of genre rules, but for some reason, urban fantasy is easier for me to sprint with. I hit 9k at work and I wanted to stand up and shout, "It's over NINE THOUSAAAAAANNND!" but.. work... not conducive to shouting! I hit 10k before I left work. Then I hit 11k and 12k at the write in, though Open Office counts my headers and Microsoft Word doesn't. I have 11,854 on MSW and 12,160 on OO. I'm not sure what the disconnect is. Is it cheating if I use the higher word count? I mean, ultimately, I'm going to have to put it in Open Office to make it a pdf to send off to CreateSpace, right? Besides, I already gave myself the sticker. :P

Speaking of stickers, I've decided to stop using the sparkly Edward Cullen glitter happy face stickers in favour of the zoo animal stickers I got in my goodie bag. The happy faces kept falling off. :( The animals are cute!

Should I be worried that I'm only four chapters into the book and I've already got 12k?

As a treat for making 9k, I made myself Nano desktop calendars. I made one last month using the opening sequence of Fringe as a background, but I didn't want to stare at that all month. So I made one for each week!

This is my Lost calendar with the numbers!

Keanu!

Fringe (YAY Pacey!)

Alpha from Dollhouse (My Halloween costume that no one got.)

And The Hangover (For when I finish Nano!)

Aren't they beautiful? And nobody's shirtless! (Cuz I made them at work.) Feel free to use. :D

12:13 am - Nanowrimo Project Day 3: Exchange Rate
So, I feared that I wasn't going to get much writing done today, but I managed to get a fair amount done. I had to take a trip out to Vail to do an Americorps presentation to a bunch of empty eyed High School Juniors. I had the foresight to pack Little Topher (my new netbook!) and I was able to write on the 30 minute trek to and from Vail! Then I was asked to watch the front desk for a little bit and I messed with headers and Title Pages. I had my Focus on Tucson project today. It wasn't completely heinous. The youth had an okay time looking for graffiti to take pictures of.

I'm slowly bringing Henry out of his mysterious funk. I'm hoping that a full on personality will come out soon. I'm trying to have some more scenes that don't take place in the store, but seeing how 90% of the interesting stuff is going to, it's a bit hard. I'd like to show Henry having a life and friends outside of the store. Joey was my attempt at this, but she was only on two pages of Chapter One and not much was revealed about her. I could possibly have her come to the store and see what's up, but then again, more scenes in the store. Is that okay?

So my goal was to make it to 8,000 words today. I was writing on the way home on Little Topher to help drown out some of the noise Glenn Beck was making. (Jim LOVES listening to Glenn Beck and all that Fox News nonsense.) I hit 8,006 words using Open Office and I was pretty happy... until I brought the document over to Microsoft Word on Toshio. I managed to lose 200+ words. I was pretty upset by this because Microsoft Word 2007 and Open Office seemed to be agreeing on my word count, but Word on Toshio was not having it. I was hoping to get 8.5k before midnight and now I had to find 200 more words to get back to where I thought I was originally. The good news is that I made just under the wire. (Well, technically, 12:01... close enough for government work... should I feel guilty?)

I'm so close to 10k I can taste it! I'm hoping that I can make it at the write in at Black Rose tomorrow night.

Oh, let me say this! I'm so jealous that my ex Nano boyfriend, Xan already has his 50k after two days! What the frell dude! No life much? His loss I guess. He doesn't get to enjoy the push towards 50k for the rest of the month, unless he's shouting for some bigger number. Last year I finished on the 13th... I'm hoping to draw out the experience like a normal person and enjoy it... plus I'd like to have my wrimos not want to hurt me when I roll in with my 50k on Day 7 :P.

11:55 pm - Nanowrimo Project Day 2: Work?
So, I wasn't really in the mood to write today. I tried to work on Retail Games at work today, but work kept getting in the way. Stupid work, thinks it's better.

I still feel that I'm not finding Henry's voice. I'm mostly narrating things he's thinking and there's not much dialogue happening so far. I'm hoping that as I add more characters in, his personality will develop. This is my first attempt at writing a story that isn't so team based. Focusing on one particular character and making him/her relevant and useful is a hard thing for me. I love group dynamic pieces, but since Henry works in a store, not all of the characters are going to be working at the same time. Henry is the only constant and it's his story so... I'm also resisting doing the J.K. Rowling route and have Henry's friends do all the work and Henry gets the glory even though he didn't do anything. I want Henry to figure things out for himself, I just hope it's not at the cost of making his friends dumb. Joey's pretty smart, but since she's not working there at the beginning of the novel, I think I can safely have her less knowledgeable of the weird things happening in the store. I really don't know what Fierce's excuse is going to be for not taking Henry seriously when he comes to him about the weird stuff going down.

I tried writing at home, but that didn't go so well. I guess my room is just too trashed for me to really feel at ease. Though there were no cute guys coming into my room and distracting me... a problem I faced at Avenue Coffee yesterday.

Tuesday doesn't show a lot of promise of getting much written. I have an early school AmeriCorps presentation in Vail, so 30 minutes out, 30 minutes back in, then helping Robbie with the mailing, then my afterschool project... Yeah... no time for writings. Fortunately, I'm a little ahead, but like my mom said, "A few days ahead can quickly turn into a week behind." I don't want that to happen! Well, it's midnight and I need to get up at 6:30. Night night!

12:14 am - NaNoWriMo Project Day 1: Why is Coffee Gone?
So, Nanowrimo is upon us again and I couldn't be happier. Things have changed since last year. I'm the sole ML this year for my region. I found this out a little late last month and sent me spiraling into OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG land, but things pulled together thanks to Dorian, Eliza, and Randix. The kickoffs weren't as exciting as I would have liked them to be, but I'm glad they happened period.

I've decided not to work on Shiny Thing this year for Nano. I'm going to go back and GASP rewrite Books 2 and 3. I'm working on a project called Retail Games. It's basically a satirized version of my experience working at Buffalo Exchange. I'm pretty psyched about it.

Instead of writing by the seat of my pants, I actually broke down and started an outline. This year I want to have an ending! I will write "The End" at the end of my novel if it kills me! I have the first 20 chapters plotted out. The chapter titles are going to be named after movies!

For once, I'm finally employed during Nano! I'm working with AmeriCorps now and I'm guaranteed a paycheck for a year! Woot!

So yesterday, the Midnight Dash was a big success! There were about 20 people crammed in the back room of IHOP as per tradition. I wrote about 2500 words there. Then I joined Eliza at Avenue Coffee to do some more writing this morning.

I bought a new laptop, one of those Asus Eee PCs on Friday. I named it Topher, but not even 24 hours later, Topher's screen start acting up. So I took it back this morning and traded him in for Topher II. He's working much better now.

I wasn't really into my story today. I'm always like that at the beginning of stories. Once the action starts happening, I'm sure I'll feel much better about it. The problem right now is that I don't really know my main character, Henry. Is he a nice guy, a little naive about things, or is he a jaded, sarcastic jerk guy? I've tried to blend a mix of both so it's a little awkward right now. I can't wait for him to come alive later on.

5:50 pm - Sleeping Me
Previously on Other People's Business...

I started taking some antidepressants back in 2006. Some of them worked well, others didn't. There was a moment when I just sat in the doorway to my bedroom and just started into space and drooled on myself... okay, maybe not drool, but yeah. When I moved to Arizona, I stopped taking them because I couldn't afford them.

SLEEPING ME

Last Wednesday, I went to COPE and I got a new 'script for some antidepressants! WHEE. One of them I've taken before and the other I had not. It turns out that both of them make me drowsy as fuck. So I've been sleeping a lot more, but not all the way through. I wake up once ever two hours, check what time it is, gauge how tired I am, and then go back to sleep.

Today, I've slept 16 hours. I originally woke up at 12, but then went back to sleep only to wake up at 2, and 4, and now 6. I'm only going to have to go back to bed in four hours. Joyous occasion. But I love hoe jealous everyone is of me right now. :D

1:39 am - Adventures with Salvia
Previously on Other People's Business...

About a year ago, a friend of mine told me that he had scored some salvia and if me and another friend were interested, we could try it out, but we had to be in the right mind set. Of course, then was not the time to try it. So he sent me a link that had information on how salvia was to be used. After spending 20 minutes of reading, I decided that it was more trouble than it was worth.

ADVENTURES with SALVIA

This evening, I drove into town to meet up with Brad, Ken, and John to watch some movies. They had me meet them at The Yard Dog (a small gay bar). Brad comes in and tells me that we're going to pick up some pizzas and salvia. I'm like, WHAT? Brad was very excited about it. So I accompany him and the others to Moon Smoke Shop to pick up the salvia. A crotchety old man told them not to play around with it unless they knew what they were doing. They just laughed at him and paid for it.

We met at Ken and Brad's place and we watch a movie (Killer Condom). When the movie was done, Brad and John thought it was time to break out the salvia. I told them that I was barely knowledgeable about how to use it. I told them that there needed to be a sitter to make sure that everything goes to plan. They laugh about it and then run off to the bathroom to smoke since Ken and I are allergic to smoke. I was thinking that I should go in there with them if they both were going to be smoking. I heard some giggling just then. They had only been in there for a minute at this point. I opened the door and saw John was on the floor giggling. Brad was nearby, watching closely. He hadn't taken it yet. All of the sudden John started screaming! He wedged himself between the sink and the toilet and wouldn't come out! For like three minutes, he screamed and shouted unintelligible nonsense. Brad and I tried to pull him out of the spot he had wedged himself in, but John was not having it.

After four minutes, he started to calm down and merely muttered the nonsense. And finally he rejoined the Planet Earth and was merely disturbed by the event. Brad and I helped John to the bed where he recalled his experience. He said that he was at his childhood house with his parents and they told him that Brad had built it. John reached out and touched the house only to have the house begin to pull him inside. That's probably where the screaming started. I asked John how many hits he took. "Two big ones!" *facepalm* No wonder. They all asked me how much he should have taken. It's bad when the non drug taker is the "expert".

John has no recollection of him screaming like a girl scout getting her throat cut. Brad resolved that after John's freak out, he's no longer interested in taking salvia. Waste of $15 if you ask me!

2:53 pm - Previously on Xander...
I moved out of Charlie's place back in June/July and moved back into my mom's place. It's a full house there now that Mom and Jim are back. Just as I was moving out, I got a job at Buffalo Exchange! That was great fun until they fired me a couple of weeks ago. I knew it was coming two weeks before it did just because I saw the signs. Mostly, the people who lost their jobs right before I got mine suddenly gained jobs... which meant the balance needed to be restored.

I had money for a car, but that has mostly been depleted because Jim has allowed me the use of his car. That means that I get to fill up the tank every time I use it. It costs $25 each time, no matter what the price of gas is. The car is not happy unless it gets my $25. One time I only gave it ten because Jim paid ten. It didn't fill the tank, it almost did. But it got really bad mileage so the next day I had to fill it up by a half tank, succeeding in getting my full $25 for the weekend. Last week, Jim gave me $20 to fill it up. The $20 magically disappeared and I had to foot the bill again, making the car very happy. So yeah....

Umm, I've been volunteering with AmeriCorps since April working with youth who want/need to do community service. I've been doing quartertime because that was the only slot that was open... which doesn't pay. Of course. But I took it anyway because I didn't see myself getting a job anytime soon and I needed to get out of the house to save my mental health. On the day that Buffalo fired me, I went to AmeriCorps and they offered me a full time slot for October, which means monies! It's not much from what everyone says, but it's $420 before taxes. It's a better situation because I get the same amount each time and my hours will be more stable than Buffalo's. So yeah.

The fundraising to get a car will have to start over again come November. The money that I had saved up will probably be gone by then unless I choose to lock myself in the house for the next month. It seems like no matter what I do to get this car, Life steps in and says, NO CAN HAZ!

Jim lost his job a week ago and it looked like we were going to lose the house. So my money was going to go towards finding an apartment. But Jim quickly got another job and Imminent Doom isn't so Imminent now.
But maybe my own place isn't a bad idea.

I'd like to get a new laptop. Toshio isn't so mobile now and Nano's coming. Toshio didn't freak out last October, so that means he's waiting to.

Umm, Facebook has completely consumed me. I can't even remember the sites I used to go to before I got addicted to facebook. When I tried to type in livejournal's url, Toshio was like, what's that?! It's been a while... sorry about that, folks. I'm going to try to keep up more and maybe start doing YuoTube videos again.

10:26 am - Writer's Block: Party Time

What was the last great party you attended?

The last great party I went to was for Michaele and Jeremy's Housewarming/Birthday party. It was awesome. The music was hot, the booze was plentiful. Ellis was there! We choreographed a dance to MIA's "Paper Planes". We even had a little dance circle goin' on! It was pretty fun! I even got to molest Gabe and his girlfriend, shortly after I lost my pants... It was a great party!
